Reiki
Reiki (pronounced Ray Key) is universal energy which surrounds us and this purest form of known healing was rediscovered by Dr Mikao Usui, who then spent the rest of his life practising and teaching Reiki in Japan. Reiki is not a religion and requires no particular belief system so anyone can receive a Reiki treatment or learn how to use it. It is perfectly safe to use Reiki alongside traditional medicine and it is non-invasive as it is performed fully clothed.
The Five Mikao Usui Reiki Principles:
- Just for today I will let go of anger;
- Just for today I will let go of worry;
- Today I will count my many blessings;
- Today I will do my work honestly;
- Today I will be kind to every living creature.
As a Reiki Master I can offer treatments in your own home, or at clinics in Sleaford and Newark. As a Master Teacher, I am also able to teach this wonderful therapy. See the courses link on the menu for further information.
This treatment may not be suitable for those who have a pacemaker, infectious diseases, epilepsy, or some other chronic medical disorders, (a referral from the GP may be sought prior to treatment).
